About the Campaign
The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and its partners launched the We Are Ready campaign in response to the sudden freeze and subsequent termination of more than $1.5 billion in congressionally approved EPA-funded contracts. The programs involved are not hypothetical They are real, shovel-ready efforts led by local groups, many of which have already begun. When the funding was stopped, we acted, and We Are Ready started.
We Are Ready is a movement to restore the promised federal funds and reaffirm a promise made to communities across the country. We are standing together to say: we are still ready — let us work.

Who We Are
This campaign is powered by a network of organizations that support and uplift community-led solutions, including:
Technical Assistance providers and grantmakers across all ten EPA regions (TCTAC)
Our Values
Community First. Action Always.
We believe in:
Local leadership — Projects are designed and led by communities, not dictated from the top down.
Public trust — When funding is promised, it should be delivered.
Health and safety — Clean water, safe air, and secure infrastructure are non-negotiable.
Nonpartisan advocacy — This campaign isn’t about party politics. It’s about keeping promises.
